A medicinal herb also known as female ginseng, dong quai grows in cool, high-altitude mountains in China, Japan and Korea.

 

Properties and Uses

Used to treat hot flushes that often accompany menopausal symptoms. Nourishes the blood as it is rich in important vitamins. Also used in the treatment of hormone imbalance as it is said to have the ability to regulate oestrogen levels.
